There’s been a lot of chatter lately about what’s happening with the Vaydor Supercar name, as well as a lot of online speculation as to when a new design might be available.

We’re here to set the record straight.

In late 2018, Melvin Juarbe, president of Custom Crafted Cars Inc., realized a dream when he bought the Vaydor Supercar name.

Juarbe was an early advocate and supporter of the original Vaydor kit-car, which was designed by Matt McEntegart, who owned Vaydor Bodykits LLC. But Juarbe also had a vision. He wanted to take the original kit-car and create something more, a luxury turn-key supercar that drives like a race car but was designed to cruise the street in style.

Juarbe met with new investors, including Peter Kip, who shared his love for the Vaydor and who also recognized its potential as a road-ready supercar unlike anything available on market anywhere in the world.

Together, they purchased the Vaydor name from McEntegart and immediately ceased the production and sale of kits, opting instead to focus all their energy and resources on designing something bigger, better and more breathtaking – the Vaydor 2.0.
